Gonakadet, also called Konakadeit or Sea-Wolf, is a mythical creature in Tlingit tradition of the Pacific Northwest. Known as Wasgo among the Haida, it is a transformed human sea monster whose sighting or howl brings wealth and good fortune. The creature may have been inspired by Vancouver coastal sea wolves.
