Marchosias
A wolf-winged Marquis of Hell commanding thirty legions.
Marchosias is a great and mighty Marquis of Hell in demonology, commanding thirty legions of demons. In the Ars Goetia, he is depicted as a wolf with griffin wings and a serpent's tail, spewing fire from his mouth, though he may take human form at the magician's request. Before his fall, he belonged to the angelic order of Dominations and expressed hope of returning to Heaven after 1,200 years.

In James Blish's novel Black Easter, the magician Theron Ware demonstrates his abilities to a skeptical arms dealer by sending Marchosias to drive a prominent physicist to poison himself, with the evocation ritual described in unusually rich detail. On the television show Legends of Tomorrow, Marchosias appears as a hellhound that once belonged to the serial killer known as the Son of Sam. Kelley Armstrong's Wolf's Curse features a demon who calls herself Marchosias, arriving with her hell beasts and claiming to have created werewolves, though a werewolf character dismisses this as just one of many origin stories and expresses uncertainty about her true identity. In the mobile game Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt, the ASW-G-35 Gundam Marchosias, later rebuilt as the Gundam Hajiroboshi, is one of the 72 Gundam Frames from the Calamity War. In the Doctor Who audio play Minuet in Hell, the alien Psionovores take the form of Marchosias to deceive a villain into thinking he is bargaining with Hell. The Cult of the Lamb DLC Woolhaven portrays Marchosias as an atheistic cult leader determined to destroy gods and their followers.
