Legendary deer stalker who killed Scotland's last wolf in 1743.

MacQueen of Findhorn, also known as MacQueen of Pall a' Chrocain, was a legendary Highland deer stalker credited with killing the last wolf in Scotland. The event occurred in 1743 in Darnaway Forest, Morayshire, after the wolf had killed two children. MacQueen presented the wolf's severed head to a gathering called a Tainchel.
