Yennefer of Vengerberg

Powerful sorceress, lover of Geralt, and mother to Ciri.

Yennefer of Vengerberg is a powerful sorceress and a central figure in the Witcher saga. She is one of Geralt of Rivia's lovers and becomes a motherly figure to Ciri. Born in 1173 on Beltane, she is among the most formidable mages on the continent, serving on the Council of Sorcerers and later the Lodge of Sorceresses. Her relationship with Geralt is tumultuous, and both are sterile, a fact she struggles to accept. She was blinded at the Battle of Sodden Hill by Fringilla Vigo but later had her sight magically restored.
