Trollocs
Brutal humanoid Shadowspawn with animal senses, led by the eyeless Myrddraal.
Trollocs are brutal, humanoid monsters with animal senses who kill with pleasure and eat all meat, including humans. They are among the Shadowspawn, the creatures brought into the world by the Dark One's growing influence, and are commanded by the Fades, or Myrddraal, deadly eyeless creatures.
Lore & Background
The series opens with a Trolloc attack on the village of Emond's Field in The Eye of the World, and the Fades and Trollocs will not enter the cursed city of Shadar Logoth. The Forsaken Aginor created the Dark One's army of Shadowspawn, including Myrddraal, Trollocs, Draghkar and gholam, and the Forsaken Balthamel oversaw camps where humans were used to feed them.
