Michael Hospital Visit to Father

While Vito recovers in hospital from the assassination attempt, Michael visits and finds that NYPD Captain McCluskey has had his father's bodyguards removed, clearing the way for a second attempt. Realising the danger, Michael moves Vito to another room and stands guard outside the hospital, scaring off Sollozzo's assassins. McCluskey returns and breaks Michael's jaw for defying him, then backs down when Tom Hagen arrives with more bodyguards.
