UN Navy

The United Nations Navy (UNN) operates as the primary military force for Earth within the Sol system, leveraging the planet's massive population and industrial base to project power. In an uneasy alliance with Mars against the Belters of the Outer Planets, the UNN maintains a vast fleet intended to enforce Earth's will. However, its effectiveness is often constrained by bureaucratic inertia and political maneuvering from Earth's fractured government.

Lore & Background

The UNN's strategic landscape shifted dramatically following the creation of the Epstein Drive, which allowed for continuous acceleration and changed naval warfare dynamics. Initially, the navy faced existential threats from Martian stealth technology and Belter resistance.
