Julie Mao

Juliette "Julie" Andromeda Mao is the eldest child of the Earther plutocrat Jules-Pierre Mao, a former pinnace racer who joined the Outer Planets Alliance. In Leviathan Wakes, Ceres detective Joe Miller is hired to find her and send her home against her will. Miller and Holden find her body in a hotel shower, overgrown by a strange organic growth, and later learn that Eros is being steered by Julie, whose infected body lives in symbiosis with the protomolecule. Her sister Clarissa Mao later seeks revenge on Holden.
