Reader's Guide
The book is the last part of a crossover trilogy that begins in the world of Earthdawn, although it was published before the other two. Reviewing it for Arcane magazine, Andy Butcher gave it 5 out of 10: he found it the first real crossover between Earthdawn and Shadowrun and praised its glimpses of the true powers of the Shadowrun world, but felt the climax came too soon and left readers sensing they had missed much of the story.
