Edge
The fourth edition's replacement for the Karma Pool.
Edge is the attribute introduced in Shadowrun's fourth edition to replace the Karma Pool. It works in most of the same ways as the third-edition pool, which let players reroll dice, buy extra dice in some situations and even escape certain death at the cost of all their Karma.

Reader's Guide
With Edge taking over the pool's role, character advancement is still tracked with Karma, which dropped the word Good from its name because it no longer needed to be told apart from the old Karma Pool.
