Renraku
The arcology megacorp behind Project THON.
Renraku Computer Systems is one of the megacorporations of the Sega Genesis Shadowrun, a computer technology company alongside Lone Star, Fuchi, Mitsuhama, Ares Macrotechnology and Aztechnology. In Seattle it runs the Renraku Arcology, an enclosed city inside a pyramid with top-class shops, its huge offices and its own security force.

Reader's Guide
In the story Renraku becomes involved with the free spirit Thon through the Johnson Vigore and launches a top-priority effort, Project THON, to manipulate the information Thon needs to find Ellisia's Tomb, since Renraku alone holds a map to it. Its first leader, the executive Mako Sochou, falls for Thon's promises and betrays the company; his replacement Ito Ogami sent the Strike Team after Michael's team, and after Joshua defeats him he can hack Ogami's personal Matrix space for mission data.
