Victra au Julii is a Gold, the half-sister of Antonia au Severus-Julii, and Darrow's loyal lieutenant in Morning Star. Imprisoned alongside Darrow, she shares his captivity but retains her distinct drive: revenge against her half-sister, Antonia au Severus-Julii. While the Red Rising seeks justice for the lowColors, Victra initially joins the movement solely to settle a family score. As the conflict escalates, she evolves from a vengeful captive into one of the Howlers and marries Sevro au Barca.

Lore & Background

Victra's journey begins in captivity, where she is held alongside Darrow and tortured by the Society. Unlike Darrow, who fights for a cause, Victra's entry into the Rising is driven entirely by hatred for her half-sister, Antonia. After Holiday and Trigg rescue Darrow on behalf of the Sons of Ares and extract her, Darrow subdues and kills Vixus, but Aja au Grimmus kills Trigg. After recuperating, she joins the Howlers together with Darrow and Holiday. Her loyalty is tested when she captures Antonia and Thistle; Antonia kills Thistle to prevent Victra from executing her, leaving Antonia as the sole witness to Adrius's plans.

Victra au Julii is defined by her singular focus on revenge against Antonia, which eventually expands to include loyalty to the Rising. She serves as Darrow's loyal lieutenant.
