The Sovereign's grandson, raised by Cassius, who would rebuild the Society on his own terms.
Lysander au Lune is the grandson and heir of Octavia au Lune, the Sovereign of the Society, and a grandson of Lorn au Arcos, in Pierce Brown's Red Rising series. Virginia and Sevro kidnap him in Golden Son, and after the fall of the Society Cassius raises and protects him. In the sequel books he becomes a rival to Darrow and the Solar Republic, not an ally.

In Iron Gold, Lysander and Cassius live as vigilantes in the Asteroid Belt, rescue Seraphina au Raa, and are taken to Io, where Lysander proposes an alliance between the Rim and the Society remnants against the Republic. In Dark Age he kills Alexandar au Arcos, leads Heliopolis in rebellion and secretly allies with Apollonius to restore the Society with himself as Sovereign. In Light Bringer he kills Cassius over the biological weapon Eidmi and devastates Io.
