The foulmouthed Howler who became Ares and Darrow's second-in-command.
Sevro au Barca is Darrow's friend and ally in House Mars at the Institute, a lowDraft Gold with an antisocial attitude, in Pierce Brown's Red Rising series. His father, Fitchner au Barca, was a Gold and the Proctor of Mars; his mother, Bryn, was a Red. He leads the Howlers and becomes Darrow's best friend and second-in-command.

In Morning Star, Sevro publicly reveals Darrow's Red origin, sparking riots among the lowColors, and as Ares he leads the Rising with bombings and other terrorist tactics until he cedes command to Darrow. He marries Victra au Julii and is among the four who kill Aja au Grimmus.
Reader's Guide
Sevro is also called "Goblin" and "Ares". In the sequel books he serves as an Imperator of the Solar Republic, and he and Victra have a daughter, Electra, and a son, Ulysses, who is killed by Harmony's Red Hand.
