Luna
The Moon and capital of the Society, where the Sovereign held court until the Rising took it.
Luna, Earth's moon, is the capital of the Society in Pierce Brown's Red Rising series and the seat of Octavia au Lune, the Sovereign. In Golden Son, Victra delivers Darrow to Adrius on Luna, and House Augustus later escapes from it. In Morning Star the Jackal plants stolen nuclear bombs on Luna to blackmail Octavia into making him Sovereign and has several detonated, killing millions, before the Rising captures Luna, Mars and Earth.
Lore & Background
After the war, Quicksilver almost singlehandedly rebuilds Luna, and it becomes the seat of the Solar Republic's Senate. In Dark Age, Dancer and his allies are poisoned there before a Senate vote, a Vox Populi riot massacres Virginia's supporters, and Sevro is left captive on Luna; in Light Bringer, Atalantia stays behind to besiege it.
