Development

Tribute Games' first title, Wizorb, launched on the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Indie Games section on September 29, 2011. A Windows port followed on November 7 of that year through GamersGate. This version supports gamepad, keyboard, or mouse controls, with the developer recommending mouse-only play for a more reflex-driven, slightly easier experience. Before the Windows release, work had already begun on Mac and Linux ports, and a smartphone version was considered. Using the MonoGame library, the OS X and Linux ports were completed. The Windows edition later arrived on Steam on March 14, 2012. The game eventually reached the Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2022.
