Gameplay
The player cuts a warship into pieces by holding the circle button while moving, similar to Taito's Qix. Cutting from one side to the other causes the smaller side to fall off, repeated until the warship cannot move. The percentage remaining is shown in the upper left, and the timer pauses based on how much has been cut. Gray portions require mojo, gained by cutting parts or using items, to perform a mojo attack that slows movement until the gauge empties. Bombs can be used in exchange for allies, with blast direction depending on the bomb item. The R button defends against enemy attacks. Allies trapped in prisons on the warship can be rescued by touching the prison, but if the prison is cut away first, they are lost. The game ends if allies are killed by enemies, the player is hit with no allies, or the player enters a bomb blast.
Plot
In a world full of trees where civilizations have repeatedly risen and fallen, people dug up an ancient power plant and built a town nearby. Giant warships with no crew began flying around, dropping missiles. One warship attacked the town, and lacking weapons, the townspeople boarded the warships to fight. The conflict lasted an extremely long time. During the fighting, a child was rescued from inside a warship, named Titori, and raised by the townspeople. The story starts as Titori becomes the group's leader.
