Development

The game originated as a Japanese doujin (independent) title. Norihiro Furukawa contributed arrangements for the main theme. A limited edition of the PSP release included the soundtrack PERFECT SOUNDTRACK Kisou Ryouhei Gunhound EX as a bonus. The original source code was made open source, and the game was removed from Steam and Playism stores on October 18, 2018 due to the suspension of Dracue software.

Reception

The PSP version was well received, with several reviewers comparing it to Assault Suit Valken. The EX version for PC also received positive reviews; USGamer awarded it 4/5, and Polish magazine CD-Action gave it 7.5/10. Critics noted that the game's ideas were not fully implemented and expressed hope that a sequel could expand on them.
