Lore & Background

It comes in three types. Armament Haki is an armor-like force that amplifies defense and the force of attacks, and lets the user make contact with and damage Devil Fruit users whose powers would otherwise protect them. Observation Haki is a sixth sense that reads a person's moves and detects their presence. Conqueror's Haki can knock weak-willed people or animals nearby unconscious. Luffy gains an advanced form of Observation Haki, letting him see several seconds into the future, while fighting Charlotte Katakuri, and unlocks an advanced form of Conqueror's Haki while fighting Kaido on Onigashima.
