Lore & Background
When awakened, the fruit transcends standard Zoan limitations, allowing the user to affect their environment as if it were their own rubber body. Clouds can be punched like balloons, lightning can be grabbed like a rope, and opponents' attacks can be bounced back with cartoonish physics. This form is characterized by white flames of liberation, silver hair, and a rhythmic drumbeat known as the 'Drums of Liberation,' signaling the arrival of dawn and freedom.
Reader's Guide
The power is currently wielded by Monkey D. Luffy, who unknowingly ate it as a child. It serves as the catalyst for his ultimate victory against overwhelming odds in the Wano Country arc. The fruit's awakening is tied to the user's heart rhythm, often manifesting when they are fighting not just to win, but to liberate others and bring laughter to the world.
