Boa Hancock

Background

As children she and her sisters were sold to the Celestial Dragons, force-fed Devil Fruits and branded as slaves until Fisher Tiger freed them. Back home she became ruler, called the "Snake Princess" by her people, and as captain of the Kuja Pirates she accepted a Warlord seat to protect them, despite a hatred of the World Government she keeps secret. She first refuses to fight in the Government's war against the Whitebeard Pirates, but changes her mind after falling in love with Luffy, who asks for her help to get into Impel Down. Her Love-Love Fruit turns anyone charmed by her into stone and back again, though it has no effect on Luffy, and she can use all three types of Haki. When the Seven Warlords are disbanded after the latest Reverie, she becomes an enemy of the World Government once more.

Four Emperors

The Four Emperors are a group of four powerful pirates who each control and protect their own territory in the New World, the second half of the Grand Line. The Seven Warlords of the Sea were a separate group of pirates who served the World Government by fighting other pirates, similar to privateers. This system was abolished by a decision made during the Reverie. Former Warlords include Crocodile, Blackbeard, Jinbe, Trafalgar Law, Donquixote Doflamingo, Bartholomew Kuma, Gecko Moria, Dracule Mihawk, Buggy, Boa Hancock, and Edward Weevil.

Salome

Salome is Boa Hancock's pet snake, white with red patches and wearing a skull on its head. It supports her in battle and also serves as her throne. Boa Sandersonia is the middle sister; her Devil Fruit enables her to transform into an anaconda or anaconda-human hybrid. She is voiced by Chiwa Saitō in Japanese and Lindsay Seidel in the Funimation dub.

Boa Marigold is the youngest sister; her Devil Fruit lets her turn into a king cobra or king cobra-human hybrid. She is voiced by Kimiko Saitō in Japanese and Julie Mayfield in the Funimation dub. Shakuyaku, nicknamed "Shakky," was the Empress and captain of the Kuja Pirates after Gloriosa. Her extreme popularity led her to take over, but she later retired to open a bar on Fullalead.

Her kidnapping by the World Government caused the God Valley Incident, drawing both the Rocks Pirates and the Roger Pirates to rescue her. After the Roger Pirates disbanded, she married Silvers Rayleigh and worked as a bartender at Sabaody Archipelago. She is voiced by Hiromi Tsuru (and later Masumi Asano) in Japanese and Elizabeth Maxwell in the Funimation dub.
