Background
He wielded two famous swords, Ame no Habakiri and Enma, could use all three types of Haki and could hear the "Voice of All Things". He became a famous pirate, sailing first with the Whitebeard Pirates and then with the Roger Pirates, whom he helped read the Poneglyphs in return for joining their travels on the Grand Line. On his journey he met Toki, and they had two children, Momonosuke and Hiyori. After he returned home, Kurozumi Orochi seized Wano with Kaido's help, and they sentenced Oden to be boiled alive. He spared his retainers from that fate, was then shot in the head by Kaido and died smiling.
