Kaguya Origins
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's past is told in the twenty-first season of Naruto: Shippuden, when Black Zetsu reveals her backstory to Naruto and Sasuke. She is the mother of the twins Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths, and Hamura.

In the anime's account Tenji, the young emperor of So, takes in a mysterious woman who calls herself Kaguya and the protector of the God Tree. The two fall in love, but after she slaughters men from the land of Ka who try to abduct her, Tenji, unaware that she is pregnant with twin sons, orders her death to keep the peace. Kaguya ate the Divine Tree's fruit and placed the world under the Infinite Tsukuyomi to end all conflict; first revered as the "Rabbit Goddess", she was later denounced as a demon.
