Hashirama Senju
The God of Shinobi who forged a village from the ashes of endless war.
Hashirama Senju looms larger than life in shinobi history, revered as the First Hokage and the architect of Konohagakure. Having lived through the Warring States period, he is the only naturally born user of Wood Style techniques and an incarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki. Yet, his ambition transcended battlefield dominance; Hashirama sought to build a sanctuary where children could grow up without the shadow of war.

Lore & Background

Reader's Guide
As a child Hashirama befriended Madara Uchiha before Madara declared them enemies; the two fought on occasion until Hashirama persuaded him to have their clans make peace, and together they founded Konohagakure, the first ninja village. Orochimaru's Reanimation Jutsu brings him back twice: first to fight his former student Hiruzen, then to help Sasuke understand Konoha's history before he faces the reanimated Madara in the Fourth Great Ninja War. He makes amends with Madara as his old friend lies dying after Kaguya's defeat.
