Preved

The Preved is a Metro-made anti-materiel rifle in Metro: Last Light, not a shotgun. A single-shot, bolt-action rifle firing the 12.7x108 mm round, it has the highest damage per bullet in the game and is one of its three true sniper rifles alongside the Valve and the Clapper; it can bring down the Bear in as few as five shots on the easier difficulties. It appears to be modelled on the Second World War PTRD and PTRS-41 anti-tank rifles. In its basic form it holds one round, but it can be fitted with a 5-round box magazine, a 4x scope and a muzzle brake. It punches through most cover and drops heavily armoured enemies in one hit, which makes it useful against tough mutants such as demons, though its very slow rate of fire makes it a poor choice against agile enemies like watchmen.
