Saiga
A pre-war drum-fed shotgun, second only to the Abzats.
The Saiga-12, known in-game simply as the Saiga, is a magazine-fed pre-war automatic shotgun available in Metro: Last Light and, only partially, in Metro 2033 Redux, where it can be obtained through a map glitch in the Depository or by cheating in the Armory; there it stands in for the Abzats, which was later added with the Season Pass. In Last Light it is one of the last weapons Artyom comes across, first purchasable in Undercity and then carried by many enemies. Laid out like the Kalash (AK-74), it accepts most of that rifle's attachments, including the suppressor, laser sight, red-dot and IR sights, and it outclasses the game's other shotguns thanks to a reload as fast as the AK-74 and a 20-round extended drum magazine, which give it firepower second only to the Abzats and make it the best close-quarters weapon for players who lack one.
