Lesnitsky

Lesnitsky is a Red Line double agent planted inside the Rangers and the tertiary antagonist of Metro: Last Light. On the orders of his superior, General Korbut, he steals a biological weapon from D6, which leads to the massacre of a smaller station and feeds the Red Line's attack on D6. Artyom first hears of him from guards in D6, and first sees him beside Korbut after being captured by the Red Line. Lesnitsky then leads the Red assault on the Rangers' surface base at the church, takes Anna hostage to Oktyabrskaya, and has the station's people massacred and the station burned. Artyom confronts him there while he holds Anna at knifepoint, demanding that Artyom remove his gas mask; later, on the surface, Artyom subdues him with the help of the Little Dark One and can choose whether to kill him.
