Vladimir

The Rangers' technician, the man who could run D6's missiles.

Vladimir is one of the Rangers who accompanies Artyom and Miller to D6 in Metro 2033. One of the older men of the group and its technician, he is first met in Sparta, where he hands Artyom his new gear without charging for it, unlike other traders. Not a fighter by nature, he knows how to use pre-war technology, including the missile systems in D6, so Miller tasks Artyom with protecting and assisting him, although he can hold his own with his Automatic Shotgun. After Artyom and Miller leave D6 for the surface he stays behind with Ulman to operate the missile guidance system and keep radio contact with the group. He makes a brief appearance in Metro: Last Light as the armourer in D6.
