Crafting System
Scrap, scavenge, and build what the Aurora needs.
Crafting is a mechanic introduced in Metro Exodus; there is no crafting in the original Metro 2033 or in Metro: Last Light. It lets Artyom make ammunition, including pneumatic rounds, and consumables such as medkits, filters and grenades from two kinds of resources gathered while exploring: in abandoned buildings and vehicles, in boxes and crates, on lootable corpses and some mutants, or by scrapping collected ammunition and consumables. Most recipes need both resources in different amounts. Materials, shown as a wrench-and-nut icon and found as wire, empty cans and small boxes of screws, bolts or bearings, go into all ammunition and throwables, in smaller amounts into medkits and filters, and also repair a damaged gas mask. On Ranger Hardcore the resources carried are capped at 300.
