MI6 agent George "Mac" McHale works with Indy in the war and against the Soviets.
Within the Indiana Jones franchise, British Intelligence appears through MI6 agent George "Mac" McHale (Ray Winstone) in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Mac served in MI6 during World War II, working with Indiana Jones, who worked for the Office of Strategic Services. Jones is tasked with conducting covert operations with McHale against the Soviet Union.

Lore & Background
In 1957 Soviet agents led by Irina Spalko kidnap Jones and McHale. During a chase through the Amazon jungle, Mac tells Jones that he is a double agent working for the CIA, but he later admits to lying about it. Mac is a self-described "capitalist" who makes his decisions on what he gets in return.
Reader's Guide
British Intelligence has no role in the films beyond McHale's MI6 service. Writer David Koepp said Mac represents the confusion of the Cold War.
