Philosopher's Stone
The alchemists' stone of a 1995 Indiana Jones novel and a cancelled LucasArts game.
The philosopher's stone is the subject of the Indiana Jones novel Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's Stone (1995) by Max McCoy, one of the Bantam Books novels set before the films; in it, in 1933, Indiana's friend Sallah helps him find the philosopher's stone.

After Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, LucasArts developed a successor adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Iron Phoenix, set after World War II, in which Nazis who had fled to Bolivia try to resurrect Adolf Hitler with the philosopher's stone. The game was in development for 15 months but its treatment of Neo-Nazism made it hard to market in Germany.
