Shalnark
The Phantom Troupe's information specialist, member number 6.
Shalnark is one of the original Phantom Troupe members from Meteor City and bears the number 6. He looks like an ordinary man but is one of the group's sharpest minds, skilled with computers and information gathering. He is also a licensed Hunter, which gives the Troupe access to useful information.
Lore & Background
Shalnark is a Manipulation-type Nen user. His main ability lets him control other people remotely with his cell phone after sticking a special antenna into them. Placing the antenna on himself puts his body on autopilot and makes him strong enough to crush most opponents, but he dislikes it: it leaves him in severe muscle pain for days, and he keeps no memory of the fight.
Reader's Guide
He ranks tenth among the Troupe in physical strength and placed 17th in the series' second popularity poll.
Shalnark is the second Troupe member killed by Hisoka after Hisoka sets out to wipe out the Troupe following his defeat by Chrollo.
