Zippleback

The two-headed dragon whose heads share the work: one breathes gas, the other lights it.

The Hideous Zippleback is a two-headed dragon species in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The Thorston twins ride a green male Zippleback, Barf and Belch: one head breathes out explosive gas and the other ignites it, and the dragon has trouble flying when its two riders disagree. The Book of Dragons short places the species in the Fear class with the Snaptrapper.

Lore & Background

In the television series Barf and Belch become indebted to Hiccup after he saves them and follow him around, and a Titanwing Zippleback nest guards a chest in a series of tunnels.
