Fishlegs
Berk's walking encyclopedia of dragon lore and the rider of the Gronckle Meatlug.
Fishlegs Ingerman is one of the young Vikings of Berk in the How to Train Your Dragon films and series, voiced by Christopher Mintz-Plasse. An enthusiastic friend of Hiccup, he knows a great deal of dragon lore and often relates it in the style of a role-playing game. He rides Meatlug, a brown female Gronckle. In Cressida Cowell's novels Fishlegs is Hiccup's best friend.

Lore & Background
Fishlegs joins Hiccup, Snotlout, the Thorston twins and Astrid in the dragon-fighting class that Stoick enrols Hiccup in before sailing for the dragons' nest. In the television series he is not as courageous as the other riders but loyal, especially to Hiccup and Astrid, and his bond with Meatlug is close and nurturing. In the novels his hunting dragon is Horrorcow, a Basic Brown that he suspects is a vegetarian, and he is captured by Romans with Hiccup.
