Reader's Guide
In 2019 Corey Cunningham accidentally causes the death of a boy he is babysitting and becomes an outcast in Haddonfield. Three years later Laurie Strode is writing a memoir and living with her granddaughter Allyson, who begins dating Corey. After an encounter with Michael Myers in the sewers, Corey starts killing, eventually taking Michael's mask.
Laurie shoots Corey, who stabs himself to frame her before Michael kills him and comes for Laurie. With Allyson's help Laurie kills Michael, and the town follows as his body is taken to the salvage yard and destroyed in an industrial shredder.
