Background
Falcons was co-founded in 2017 by Mossaad Al-Dossary, the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup winner who serves as its CEO, with a stated aim of building an esports world for gamers in the Middle East and North Africa. Its backers have not been formally announced, though Dot Esports has written that connections to the Saudi royal family are believed to exist, and some pundits have likened its push into esports to sportswashing. Twistzz is among players who turned the organisation down, saying he cared more about his career than the money.
The Counter-Strike 2 project began in October 2023 with coach zonic, who had won four Majors with Astralis and a fifth with Vitality, when Falcons ranked only 55th in the world; Magisk, Snappi, SunPayus and Maden followed. s1mple played for the team on two loans from Natus Vincere in 2024 and dupreeh signed in March 2024, but the roster missed both the PGL Major Copenhagen and the Shanghai Major, after which Snappi, Maden and dupreeh were benched. NiKo arrived from G2 in January 2025 alongside the HEROIC core of kyxsan, TeSeS and degster, and the team's first CS2 trophy came at PGL Bucharest 2025, with m0NESY then replacing degster.
On April 20, 2026, Falcons signed in-game leader karrigan from FaZe Clan in place of kyxsan and went on to win the Cologne 2026 Major, beating FURIA in the grand final.
