Background

Van Dulken began playing video games with his dad, and his first FPS was Quake. His mother's boyfriend verbally abused him, which stalled his progress in CS:GO, but in 2014 his mom chose to leave and he was able to make progress once again. He turned professional with Tectonic in October 2015 and was signed by Team SoloMid in 2016. He joined Team Liquid in April 2017, and in 2018 helped Liquid go 3-0 through the New Challengers and New Legends stages of the FACEIT London Major, including a 19-15 win over the top-ranked Astralis, before Astralis beat them in the semifinal.

Liquid's 2019 run brought wins at iBUYPOWER Masters, IEM Sydney, where Twistzz took MVP, DreamHack Masters Dallas, the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals and ESL One Cologne 2019, which completed a $1 million Intel Grand Slam. He moved to FaZe Clan in January 2021, and in 2022 FaZe won IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15 and the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, making him the second North American after Stewie2K with both a Major and a Grand Slam. FaZe then beat Natus Vincere 3-2 at IEM Cologne to become the first team to win Katowice, the Major and Cologne in one year.

A second Grand Slam in 2023 made him the first player with two. In December 2023 he left FaZe Clan to return to Team Liquid, and in the second half of 2024, with in-game leader cadiaN benched, he became Liquid's caller. On September 13, 2025, Liquid announced his departure and FaZe Clan announced his return the same day; at the StarLadder Budapest Major his team reached the grand final from Stage 1. Following karrigan's departure on April 20, 2026, Twistzz took on the in-game leader role at FaZe.
