Cascabel chili
A rattling dried chili from Mexico, also popular in Hungary.
The cascabel chili, also called little bell or rattle chili, is a Mirasol cultivar of Capsicum annuum. Its dried form rattles due to loose seeds. Fresh cascabel, 2–3 cm in diameter, is known as bola chili or chile bola. Farmers grow it in several Mexican states including Coahuila, Durango, Guerrero, and Jalisco.
