Minnesota Twins

The Twin Cities' American League club.

The Twins play in the American League Central, based in Minneapolis and named after the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The franchise began in 1894 as the minor-league Kansas City Blues, became the Washington Senators in 1901, and moved to Minnesota for the 1961 season.
