Connie Springer comes from Ragako, a district of Wall Rose, and wears a buzz cut. He has an outgoing and upbeat personality, always trying his best to keep his teammates pumped up, and he does not shy away from encounters with Titans.

Background

His instructor rated his balance and his handling of the vertical maneuvering equipment highly, while noting a slow mind that leads to strategic mistakes. Among his closest friends are Sasha Braus and Jean Kirstein. He ranked eighth in the class and meant to join the Military Police, but a speech by Eren changed his mind and he eventually signed up with the Survey Corps.

The Beast Titan later lays waste to his village, turning every inhabitant into a Pure Titan, his mother among them. Hoping to restore her, Connie abducts Falco, only to relent at the last moment and save Armin instead. He is left traumatised after killing his close friends Daz and Samuel to keep them from blowing up the flying boat.

During the final battle of Heaven and Earth he is himself turned into a Titan, but Eren's death frees him and he finally reunites with his mother. One of the few characters still alive at the end of the series, he goes on to serve the Alliance as an ambassador of peace.
