Background

His Titan form is a skinless giant some 60 metres tall that can vent scalding steam to shield itself and drive enemies back. He used it to start the fall of Wall Maria and, years later, to breach Trost District. He joined the Warriors so the Marleyans would give his bedridden father medical care. After Reiner exposes them both, Bertolt is captured by Eren in the battle at Shiganshina and eaten by Armin, who is given the Titan serum to survive his burns.
