Lore & Background

The player is Malum Caedo, a Sternguard Veteran of the Ultramarines Chapter, sent by the Inquisition to the Forge World Graia several years after the events of Space Marine. There he fights Chaos Space Marines and Chaos daemons. The developers stress that, for all its retro style, it uses modern enemy AI. A sequel, Boltgun 2, is in development.
