Lore & Background
As in Vermintide 2, four players team up against waves of AI enemies, but players build their own character rather than picking a preset hero. The launch classes were Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn and Psyker, all prisoners conscripted by the Inquisition and all with a regenerating shield. The Arbitrator, an active Imperial law enforcer with a riot shield and a Cyber-Mastiff companion, arrived in June 2025, and a sixth class, the Hive Scum, in December 2025.
