While the Adeptus Astartes are viewed as demi-gods, the Sororitas preach that the Emperor is a true God who demands absolute devotion from His followers. They organize themselves into Orders Militant, each with its own traditions, colors, and homeworlds. These orders maintain Convents where novitiates train for years before being initiated as Battle Sisters. Their power armor is distinct from Astartes plate, often adorned with iconography and relics that serve to bolster their morale through faith. Throughout the 41st Millennium, they have fought on countless worlds, from the bloody streets of Holy Terra to the frozen wastelands of the frontier.
