Background
The Hephaestus Mining Company claimed Scylla and found a vein rich in yttrium and scandium. To make mining easier it built an environmentally sealed dome over part of the asteroid, with a terraformer inside to make oxygen and a mining outpost. The company later abandoned the site to concentrate on the planet Hephaestus.
