Jauffre
Grandmaster of the Blades and keeper of the Amulet of Kings.
Jauffre (voiced by Ralph Cosham) is the grandmaster of the Blades in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Uriel Septim, knowing he is destined to die at the assassins' hands, entrusts the player with the Amulet of Kings, worn by the Septim emperors, and orders them to take it to Jauffre.
Lore & Background
Jauffre explains that the only way to close the Oblivion gates permanently is to find someone of the royal bloodline to retake the throne and relight the Dragonfires with the Amulet of Kings in the Imperial City. The player escorts Jauffre and Martin to Cloud Ruler Temple, the Blades' stronghold in Cyrodiil, and Jauffre and Martin later decide to allow Bruma to be attacked by Daedra so that a Great Gate will open.
