Nine Divines
Tamriel's pantheon, the Eight plus Talos.
The Nine Divines are Tamriel's religious pantheon of deities, the antithesis of the sadistic and selfish Daedra in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The ninth, Talos, was added on the death of Tiber Septim, the first to unite Tamriel under a single empire; his apotheosis remains controversial, especially among the elven races, and is one of the major conflicts of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Lore & Background
In Knights of the Nine the player gathers the Crusader relics to defeat the sorcerer-king Umaril, who seeks revenge on the Nine Divines.
