The Daedric Prince of the Dawn and Dusk who confirms the Nerevarine.
Azura is the ancient Daedric Prince of the Dawn and Dusk. In The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind she appears in a vision when the player equips Nerevar's ring, the Moon-and-Star, confirming that the player is Nerevar's incarnate, and she congratulates the Nerevarine after the Heart of Lorkhan is destroyed, rewarding them for fulfilling the prophecy.
Lore & Background
In Tribunal, as the player leaves Almalexia's temple in Mournhold, Azura reveals that the Heart of Lorkhan drove Almalexia mad and made her hunger for power, and that mere mortals cannot become gods without consequences.
