Indoril Nerevar
The legendary Dunmer hero whose reincarnation Morrowind awaits.
Indoril Nerevar is the legendary Dunmer hero of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The nomadic Ashlanders' prophecies foretell that Nerevar's incarnate, the Nerevarine, will fulfil seven prophecies, and the Emperor suspects the player may be that reincarnation.
Lore & Background
The third prophecy is to find the Moon-and-Star, the symbolic ring once worn by Nerevar, which kills anyone else who tries to wear it; equipping it brings a vision from Azura confirming the player as Nerevar's incarnate. Dagoth Ur claims to be following Nerevar's final orders, and in Tribunal the player reconstructs Nerevar's lost sword, Trueflame.
