Jorg's murdered little brother, who returned as the Dead King.
William Ancrath, later known as the Dead King, is the second son of King Olidan Ancrath and Queen Rowen and the younger brother of Jorg Ancrath in Mark Lawrence's The Broken Empire.

Background
He was killed at the age of seven when a House Renar soldier dashed him against a milestone during the attack that also killed his mother. His will was so strong that within a few years he broke free of death's confines, found the Lichkin and enslaved the necromancers, becoming the Dead King. After Jorg's death the brothers are reunited, and together they erase magic from reality to preserve the world.
